Eminem’s childhood home in Detroit demolished

Eminem’s childhood home in Detroit has been demolished.
MLive.com reports that a crew took down the house Wednesday.
The boarded-up bungalow is pictured on the cover of the rapper’s recently released “The Marshall Mathers LP 2.” It was also on his 2000 album “The Marshall Mathers LP.”
A fire this month damaged portions of the small home’s top floor.
The Michigan Land Bank says in a statement that the home was “structurally unsafe” after the fire. The Michigan Land Bank is a state agency. It owns the property.
